For the hotel portion my first class quest to Japan, I had the chance to spend a night at the 252-key Waldorf Astoria Osaka, which opened in April 2025. This followed a stay at the Bulgari Tokyo, and then in Osaka I also checked out the Patina Osaka and Osaka Station Hotel (Marriott Autograph Collection). I must say, Osaka is having quite the glow-up when it comes to the number of new luxury hotel openings, as each hotel is special in its own way.
