Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been on a mission to lighten my wallet. After being loaded down by high annual fees for a few years, my wife and I are settling into a streak of downgrades. In a couple of cases, we procrastinated a bit longer than we should have, but as you’ll see below, you can sometimes get away with going slightly over the traditional 30-day mark.
