An event dedicated to restoring forest ecosystems in Nanaimo and turning it into art will be held at Bowen Park on Earth Day.
The Pulling to Gather Earth Day celebration will be held at the park on Saturday, April 25, from 11-5 p.m., which will involve attendees pulling out English ivy and creating something out of it using prompts.
The event is being organized as part of Pulling to Gather, a community project bridging art and ecological restoration, co-produced by the Nanaimo Forest School Coop
