Olympic speed skaters are trading the international stage for North Saanich ice on April 23.
Thursday will serve as the final stop on Speed Skating Canada’s cross country Medals on Tour.
Locals will have the chance to take part in a public skate and meet two of the nation’s top athletes at Panorama Recreation Centre.
