A Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue father is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly attacking his 27-year-old daughter with a hammer.
Police arrived at a residence on Vallée and Meloche Sts. at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday to find the victim with injuries to her upper body, said Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture.
According to Couture, the woman’s life is not in danger.
