Small House Collapses in Tekax, Yucatán

A small thatched-roof house collapsed early Thursday morning, April 2nd, in the municipality of Tekax.



The house, which had stood for over 35 years, came crashing down after heavy rain fell Wednesday afternoon in the municipality.



The property, belonging to Mrs. Lourdes Manzanilla and located on 35th Street between 50th and 52nd Streets in the San Ignacio neighborhood, could no longer withstand the force of the rain and collapsed. Despite the dramatic nature of the collapse, no injuries we
