The port of Progreso had an exceptional Easter Sunday, welcoming over 25,000 visitors throughout the day to its traditional boardwalk alone, making it one of the busiest days in recent months.



According to the municipal director of Tourism, Áurea Elena Gómez Novelo, this significant influx of tourists translated into substantial economic benefits for food and beverage establishments, many of which sold out completely.
