Despite a major court victory in August, the developers behind the proposed 1,800-home Sustanee community have encountered another setback in their dogged effort to build in rural east Orange County.
County commissioners denied an agricultural enclave certification under a new state law on Oct. 27, according to a report in GrowthSpotter.
The application covered six parcels totaling about 1,264 acres north of Lake Pickett Road and west of Chuluota Road.
