The residents of AGS Colony, Saraswathi nagar, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Aandal nagar and Mohanapuri, suffered flooding like situation because of the slow evacuation of rainwater in the Veerangal Odai, which is ultimately linked to the Pallikaranai Marshland
