The Discover It card has never had a particularly exciting welcome offer, usually only awarding $100 bonus cashback.
However, it has been possible to enhance your earnings thanks to an additional offer that awards double cashback on all your cashback earnings (other than from referrals) in your first year. That effectively makes it a 2% cashback card for the first year, although if you max out your rotating 5% categories each quarter, those earnings would be doubled from $300 to $600.
