Hereford High’s cross country course is among the most challenging in the area, but a few local athletes managed the hilly terrain well Saturday for superb finishes at the Bull Run Invitational.
Crofton’s duo of Jordan Gelineau and Scott Cunningham took first and second place, respectively, in the boys’ 3-mile race, making them two of the event’s best local performers. Gelineau, a sophomore, won in 16:15.8, while Cunningham finished shortly behind at 16:19.5.
