Baltimore County firefighters rescued a child from the basement of a burning home in Loch Raven on Sunday, officials said.
Crews responded to the 8500 block of Pleasant Plains and found the fire in the basement. Officials said all other occupants had evacuated the home.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 1:20 p.m.
The child and one other person were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the fire had not been determined.
