The closure of Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK) in Jakarta has been extended until the afternoon after volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau was detected at the airport early on September 6, 2026.

The closure has canceled hundreds of flights and affected thousands of passengers.
