Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK) in Indonesia has been closed since early Sunday morning, and the airport has repeatedly extended the closure every few hours.
Foreign airlines have already canceled flights scheduled for Monday, or at least until early afternoon local time.
Volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau was detected on the airport grounds, which is why the airport is closed.
UPDATE: The airport closure has now been extended until 6 PM on Monday
