Bamboo Airways, which had high hopes of becoming a major Vietnamese airline shuttling passengers, faced a near-death experience in 2023 when it ceased all long-haul flights (read more here).

Now, the airline, however, has, for all purposes, ceased to exist, as it ended all scheduled flying last month, and even the chairman has now been banned from leaving Vietnam due to unpaid taxes.
