An alleged road rage incident west of Salmon Arm involving a machete-wielding driver turned into a police pursuit that ended with an arrest in Sicamous.
Just after 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, Salmon Arm RCMP received about the road rage incident, which occurred on Highway 1 in Tappen.
A man was said to have exited a red Honda Civic “holding a machete in a threatening manner towards another driver.” The man then got back into the Honda and continued eastbound on the highway, Salmon Arm
