Glenmore Road to close for utility work in Lake Country

Commuters in Lake Country who use Glenmore Road should expect delays later this month.
According to the District of Lake Country, the road will be closed for utility upgrades between Shanks Road and Chase Road starting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 30.
The following day, the road will be open to single-lane alternating traffic before closing again at 7 p.m.
Access to Okanagan Centre Road West will be maintained for the duration of the project, with the road expected to reopen at 7 a.m. on Sept. 1.
