Area restriction order rescinded for Bald Range wildfire near Summerland

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) has rescinded its area restriction order for the Bald Range blaze west of Summerland.
The wildfire, mapped at more than 25,000 hectares in size, is considered under control.
“As the fire behaviour and activity have decreased, firefighting personnel no longer need to restrict public access to operate efficiently and safely in the area,” BCWS said on Sept. 4.
