As summer comes to a close, so do outdoor water activities.
Swalwell Park splash pad in Lake Country is now closed for the season.
An electrical issued forced the closure a week earlier than originally scheduled. Previously scheduled warrant repairs will also be taking place through September.
The park playground, skate park, washrooms and pathways remain open.
The splash pad will reopen in spring 2027.
