South Africa isn’t carrying any impact-based rain or wind warnings today, Wednesday, 2 September.
The only active flags are fire danger warnings, which SAWS tracks separately from its colour and level system.
Three more serious warnings are already locked in for Thursday and Friday, tied to an intense cut-off low moving into the Western and Northern Cape.
SAWS confirms no colour-coded warnings are active today, but three Yellow Level 4 warnings take effect from Thursday.
