Cyclist walks away after stuck by vehicle on Kelowna’s Highway 33

A cyclist on an e-bike was struck by a vehicle at Highway 33 and Gertsmar Road on Friday afternoon.
RCMP, BC Ambulance and fire crews attended the scene at about 4 p.m.
Paramedics checked over the cyclist, who was able to walk away from the scene. The northbound lane of Gertsmar was blocked during the incident and vehicles were unable to turn right.
The driver of the vehicle appeared to stay on scene and speak with police.
