A Montréal youth was arrested Friday (Aug. 21) on terrorism allegations.
RCMP’s Federal Policing Eastern Region arrested the “young man” from Montréal as part of an investigation by the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team. Police did not specify the suspect’s age, but also referred to him as a minor.
Police say the investigators had “reasonable grounds” to fear he might commit crimes related to violent extremism.
