Penticton City Council has voted to explore the use of artificial intelligence to improve local traffic congestion.
Coun. Campbell Watt’s successful motion on using AI, akin to what the City of Kelowna has experimented with, was met with great enthusiasm from his fellow councillors and Penticton Mayor Julius Bloomfield on Aug. 18.
