School board to release updated report on bus fees

Yellowknife Education District No. 1 (Yk1) is working to release an updated report on bussing costs.
The new report will outline the cost of seat per year as well as the amount received from parents in fees and funding from the GNWT. The report will also include if the school board will need to subsidize bussing.
“This is something that we, as trustees, should be looking at,” said trustee Tina Drew. “A report on this is due.”
