Simbu backs road project with K3 million funding

A long-awaited road project for the Chuave District is set to begin after the Simbu Provincial Government handed over K3.0 million in counterpart funding to meet Asian Development Bank (ADB) requirements. 
The handover took place at the Works Compound at 4-Mile in Port Moresby on Friday, May 1, 2026. Simbu Governor Noah Kool presented the check to Works Secretary Gibson Holemba during a small ceremony.
