Kanak Ward 16 of the Pilikambi LLG, in the Lagaip District, voluntarily surrendered four high-powered firearms to the state yesterday under the National Gun Amnesty Program.
Enga Provincial Gun Amnesty Program Coordinator, Mr Evans Arlo, confirmed the surrender of the weapons, which included a pump-action shotgun, a factory-made single-shot rifle, and a .22 automatic rifle.
