QMatter, a quantum technology startup, has raised $1.2 million in
pre-seed funding, led by 55 North, with participation from XTX Ventures,
Bellstate Oy, and the Conception X Angel Syndicate.
Simulating quantum mechanics remains highly computationally
demanding, with both classical and current quantum systems unable to address
the most complex problems in areas such as drug discovery and materials
science.
