A blizzard swept across parts of the Kivalliq region, Baffin Island and Nunavik on Monday, forcing temporary closure of government offices and local services in many communities.
Environment Canada began issuing blizzard warnings early Monday starting around 3 a.m. as a storm system swept across the eastern Arctic.
