Leaked strings in HomeView Software 27.2 reveal Apple may turn the upcoming smart display into a full HomeKit Secure Video security camera with four operating states and three presence modes.
The feature seems to incorporate clear privacy safeguards, including a screen indicator, an audible chime when streaming or recording, and notifications if settings are changed.
