A Kentucky man who married his partner of nearly 30 years in hospital just 15 days before her death has won an appeal after her daughter challenged the marriage. The daughter questioned her mother's ability to consent and how the marriage licence was obtained. On Friday, the Kentucky Court of Appeals overturned the ruling invalidating the marriage and ordered further examination of the case.
