Serena Williams established two secondary schools in rural Kenya to provide local children with education. The Matooni Serena Williams Secondary School opened in 2009, followed by the Wee Serena Williams Secondary School in 2010. Both schools are now integrated into Kenya's national education system and managed by community boards. HP's involvement brought important technology resources to enhance learning experiences for students.
