Nick Canepa grades the winless Chargers following Sunday’s 24-9 loss to the Rams at SoFi Stadium:
Quarterbacks: F
Justin Herbert threw a horrific early pick (he actually was protected) when he had great field position. It led to a Rams field goal. Herbert, who has NBA height, continues to have passes batted down. He threw another awful pick that became a TD. It’s hard to believe this is the same quarterback. He’s too smart to do such stupid things. Twenty-seven straight drives without a TD
