Some science fiction movies take time for you to realize how truly amazing they are. Maybe they start slow, or in an unremarkable way, only to gradually become more and more impressive throughout their runtime. Those are not the sci-fi movies I want to talk about today. I want to talk about the sci-fi movies that I knew were something special from the first 10 minutes, movies I was going to watch again and again and again. That I knew would be masterpieces.
