The Corbetti geothermal project in Ethiopia has signed a contract with UK-based Marriott Drilling Group for the drilling of up to four exploration wells in the Corbetti Caldera, near Shashemene in Oromia. The drilling rig is expected to arrive on site in the coming months. Final site preparation activities are already underway to allow drilling commence in early 2027.
