In a generous move, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have pledged $50 million to Sacramento State University. The contribution will assist in the conversion of three state office buildings into an innovative campus, enhancing student housing and creating state-of-the-art STEM and AI facilities. This initiative reflects their evolving priorities towards backing biomedical AI research, particularly in light of discussions surrounding a possible wealth tax on California's billionaires.
