Shenmue 3 Enhanced has been ‘delayed’ to 2027

18 years after the release of its second entry in the series, Shenmue 3 finally arrived back in 2019 thanks to a highly-successful Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, the game proved to be somewhat disappointing to both old and new fans alike. Promising to improve the experience, series creator Yu Suzuki announced last year that Shenmue 3 would be receiving an ‘Enhanced Edition’. One year on, the team has now confirmed that Shenmue 3 Enhanced is targeting an Early 2027 release.
