Taranis acquires majority interest in Corbetti geothermal project, Ethiopia

Family-owned investment and project development company Taranis Operations Ltd (Taranis) has announced the completion of its acquisition of a majority interest in Corbetti HoldCo Limited, the operator of the Corbetti geothermal project in Ethiopia. With an investment of USD 27 million, Taranis will lead the next phase of exploration and development of Corbetti alongside InfraCo Africa, part of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), which retains a minority interest in the project.
