Buzzy boutique grocer Trader Joe’s will continue its rapid expansion in Central Florida with a new store planned in the Colonial Marketplace shopping center just west of Orlando Fashion Square Mall.
The California-based grocer filed for building permits with the City of Orlando for the interior buildout of the former Burlington store at 3001 E Colonial Dr. The 12,500-square-foot store will be tucked between the anchor SuperTarget and a LA Fitness, which leases 50,000 square feet in the center.
