American Airlines’ Most Senior Flight Attendant Retires After 63+ Years

In the United States, it’s common to find flight attendants of all ages. There’s no maximum age to work as a flight attendant, as long as you can pass your recurrent training each year. The system also greatly incentivizes sticking around when you’re senior, since you’re maxed out on pay, and get your choice of routes, given seniority based bidding.

Along those lines, American’s current most senior flight attendant is about to retire, and I think that makes for an interesting story.
