Endorsements: Orange County needs steady hands for rough times

Orange County can expect to see a lot of turmoil in the coming months. There will be a new mayor, and the commission is set to expand from six districts to eight. That means new faces on the commission (though some won’t be that new) and potentially, new directions for county government. Beyond that, the county faces the potential of a fiscal apocalypse if voters are tricked into approving Amendment 3.
