COLLEGE PARK — Maryland football ended the first half of its season in its usual disappointing fashion, and maybe coach Michael Locksley’s tenure with the program, too.
The Terps suffered a fifth straight loss, with a lackadaisical second-half effort that might have said as much about Locksley as it did about the players, as visiting Rutgers overcame a 10-point halftime deficit and forged a 37-30 victory Saturday afternoon before an announced 39,326 at SECU Stadium.
