Recently I read the federal government was going to indefinitely exclude people suffering from mental illness from access to MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying). The restrictive MAiD regulations have been drafted by callous, self-righteous people who are willing to turn a blind eye to the ongoing suffering of others.
