The La Jolla Parks & Beaches board chimed in at their latest meeting on a dispute over vegetation in the public easement above Charlotte Park between Coast Walk and Princess Street.
LJP&B trustee Melinda Merryweather said she has worked for years to protect the view corridor along Torrey Pines Road. Years ago, she explained at the Oct. 5 meeting, a six-foot fence in that area was brought down to nearly half its size and vegetation in the area was trimmed.
