The number of leaf-peepers who visited Guanella Pass to see the fall colors this year dropped significantly compared to 2025, but they still drove the scenic byway in, well, droves.
Guanella Pass saw 39,600 unique visitors who made 41,900 total visits on weekends from Sept. 10 through Oct. 5, according to Clear Creek County and Park County. Both figures were down 20% compared to 2025, when the pass saw 49,500 unique visitors making 52,200 visits.
