The only female governorship candidate in Kano, Furera Ahmad, has vowed to tackle the menace of drug abuse and thuggery in the state head-on if she emerged victorious at the forthcoming general election.
Furera, who is contesting under the platform of Because Of Our Tomorrow (BOOT) party, stated this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kano.
