The debate on if Kelowna should be allowed to leave the Regional District of the Central Okanagan’s (RDCO) economic arm will be deferred until after the 2026 municipal elections.
Originally, the board was scheduled to take action on the matter during a meeting on Oct. 8, but the board nearly unanimously voted to put off a debate until after the new local government councils take charge.
“I think it is important that this be discussed by the next councils,” said Director Patric
