Back in 2023, I had the opportunity to review Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The TLDR of that review is that Boltgun is a fun shooter with visceral feedback that has a deep understanding of Warhammer 40K’s aesthetics, systems, and character design. At the same time, it failed to communicate vital information to players, recycled boss fights too many times, and underserved its melee combat.
