Another public health crisis is on the horizon — not having enough primary care physicians (PCPs) in Hawaii. In contacting two of Hawaii’s largest medical groups, one has only two PCPs accepting new patients and the other has three. Further, appointments are being booked into August 2027 to determine if the physician will accept the patient.
