Every home lab I build now starts with the same 4 Docker containers

When building a home lab, you likely start with a single Raspberry Pi or old mini PC running one container, usually Plex or a file share. But then within a month your docker-compose.yml file is hundreds of lines long, housing dozens of experimental services. A bloated ad hoc home lab collapses under its own weight when a drive fails, a network bridge drops, or configuration drift sets in across unmanaged stacks.
