The company operating Hullo ferries will have a new person at the helm come the new year.
In a press release, Vancouver Island Ferry Company announced Louisa Bell as its new chief executive officer beginning in January. She takes over for acting CEO Marco Ahrens, who will continue on as general manager of the Nanaimo-Vancouver foot-passenger ferry service.
Bell has a wealth transportation business experience, the press release noted, most recently as chief commercial officer of P&O Ferries,
